Day 24: Things, which save the day for me! 68 days to go!

So- I have been busy with work yesterday and then I went out ( you could call it networking), so I apologize for the late post. Since falling off the bike, my body is suffering increasingly from lot more pain, so I thought I will share some of my personal tips for times, when your day is not exactly going the way you imagine.

DISCLAIMER: I am not taking any responsilibity of shown examples in case something goes wrong. I use these examples and they work for me, but obviously your health or situation may not be quite right for them to be used. “Just sayin’.”

Duck tape, double sided tape, super glue, superglue activator– many times I found myself in situation, when you need to quickly tape something or fix it. Duck tap is pretty much always the “saviour”. If you are using superglue and cannot keep holding little pieces until they stick for example when using thick one (especially in modelmaking), spray it with activator, the superglue freezes within seconds.

Padlock– apart from the obvious locking your toolboxex, I did use it on my painting dungarees (plus I also used duck tape), when I lost the button. Or in case there is no sewing kit available. Not the most glamourous, but it will do, what you need it to do in emergency.

Aloe Vera Gel (transparent)– I have been swearing on this product for a while. It is not this exact one as the picture, because I accidently bought lotion this time instead of gel. I use the gel for any cuts, burns, pimples, moisturize the skin. It works on everything and it soaks in within literally seconds unlike creams to make skin smooth and soft and heal fast.

Food– any food really saves my day. On a hangover morning I really enjoy grilled English breakfast, bacon and mushroom sandwich or chicken sandwich. Smoothies are also great solution.

Solulable paracetamol– Dissolve it in glass of water and it works instantly within half an hour rather than taking tablets. And it doesn’t have that horrible taste such as.

Deep Heat Rub– If I do too much exercise/Russian dancing, gardening or just like now I am in pain from falling off, I use this. It stinks up the bedroom, but it does work, or helps it to calm it down.

Water and cup of tea– I guess not much to say about that one.  I cannot leave the house or come home without one. I have a water bottle on the go when cycling constanly as I am always thirsty. If you want to see how hydrated you are and which products to use get keep your skin hydrated, well known British drugstore starting with B has machines in stores for you to be tested. When I had that test done, the lady had to do it twice just to make sure my result is correct. I had hundred percent hydrated, which only happened once before when testing someone else in that entire time she worked on this project. Asking how do I do  that, I just simply answered I barely use any cream, I don’t smoke and I drink water constantly.  So here is the secret.
